Thanks again for your delightful hospitality. The wine tasting day was one of the highlights of our entire trip. I learned more about wine in a morning than I had in the previous 60 years. Roselyne’s home was the nicest place we stayed in France. Plus, you really went out of your way to make our stay perfect.

Clarity in wine
Today, when I observe a wine and it isn’t strictly clear and bright I’m more likely to as myself a series of different questions. Is this a natural wine? Is this an organic wine? Is this a wine that has not been fined or filtered?13 Sep, 2017

Happy New Year 2014
At the end of the day wine is something to be shared and enjoyed. A carafe of wine with no visible origin served on the terrace of our local café overlooking the Loire, a bottle of Crémant with friends before a relaxed dinner in the kitchen, a sample of the new vintage taken from tank with the winemaker, a cherished bottle from the cellar. It’s all about enjoyment, discussion, pleasure and sharing.2 Jan, 2014
