Enjoying the snow here in Noizay this morning. The sky is blue and the ground squeaky beneath our feet.
The village is calm and just the odd puff of smoke coming from a wood burning stove breaks the skyline.
The vineyards are covered in a blanket of snow, clinging to the vines and the wires. Just one single grower is out pruning his vines this morning. Quite how he can see what he’s doig is anyone’s guess.
A little snowfall and our world slows down. A gentle and beautiful start to 2026.
