We’re huge fans of all Jean-François Merieau’s wines here in Touraine.
Boa Moa is a delightful example of something a little offbeat. 100% Sauvignon Rose, this colour mutation of Sauvignon makes a wine that has beautiful floral notes with a soft apricoty overtone.

From clay limestone terroir, Sauvignon Rose is pretty unusual and produces lovely wines that are quite different to a classic Sauvignon Blanc. This one has an almost tropical note initially with touches of herbs and grass.
It went particularly well with a simple roasted chicken perfumed with thyme and served with crushed new potatoes, peas and broad beans.
