Vines in the Vouvray region are weeping as they come out of dormancy. The baby vines are already at the wooly bud stage but more established and older vines are yet to burst into life. It won’t be long before growers will be back to having sleepless nights worrying about the threat of frost with yet another early start to the lifecycle of the vine here in the Loire.
