Le Tasting Room

Two nights of luxury at le tasting room to include a tailor-made Loire wine tour.  Total privacy and exclusivity for one couple only with accommodation in our beautiful 16th century barn.

• Arrive at le tasting room from 6pm onwards.  Relax with an aperitif before sitting down to a freshly prepared buffet supper, to include a selection of charcuterie, seasonal salads, cheese and a dessert, all accompanied by wines from the region.

Day One

• Enjoy a leisurely petit déjeuner in the breakfast room at a time to suit you.  Indulge in a selection of fresh patisseries and bread from the local boulangerie, fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals, with tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
• Make your way downstairs for a 2 hour tutored wine tasting to include a selection of wines from all over the Loire valley.
• Savour a homemade 3 course buffet lunch with wine in our old barrel maturation cellar beneath the house.  Enjoy a selection of dishes creatively prepared using local ingredients sourced from our neighbouring potager, and herbs from our garden.
• Spend the afternoon in the vineyard.  We'll arrange two winery visits where you'll have the opportunity to taste wine and discuss vine growing and wine making directly with the producers.
• Unwind in La Grange with an aperitif from the fridge.  We'll make a reservation at a local restaurant of your choice and provide a taxi service so you don't have to worry about driving.

Day Two

• Start the day with a continental breakfast in the breakfast room.  Although your time with le tasting room is at an end, feel free to leave your car with us and explore our troglodytic hamlet on foot or take a stroll down to the river.

Price: 600€ per couple to include 2 night's accommodation with breakfast, supper with wine on arrival, tutored tasting, lunch and accompanied vineyard visits on day two, transport to and from restaurant in the evening (cost of meal not included).
