There are three rooms and two suites at this quaint bed and breakfast located in the centre of Saumur on the river front right next door to the Anne d'Anjou hotel. A former 17th century relais de poste the ancient building has been beautifully restored retaining all its charm and bedrooms are furnished with antiques and brocante finds. The 'patio' or internal courtyard is a hidden gem where you can relax and unwind after a busy day or enjoy breakfast outside in the summer months.

A 20 minute drive from us at le tasting room, it's the perfect place to park your bags after a day in the countryside learning all about Loire valley wines and being so central is ideal if you prefer a little more life in the evening. There is a great choice of restaurants all within walking distance - Le Pot de Lapin offers the best of bistro dining and le Gambetta for a more formal Michelin starred experience as well as many others.
