Le Tasting Room

Charming hotel opposite the Abbey at Fontevraud that is perfectly situated for visiting the vineyards of Chinon, Bourgueil and Saumur-Champigny.  The hotel rooms range from simple to luxurious and are all well appointed.  There is a choice of restaurants - one fine dining gourmet and a more informal brasserie/tapas restaurant which serves right through from 12h00 until 21h00 in the summer time (a rare find in France and perfect for those frustrated by restrictive French lunch hours!). La Croix Blanche is the only Logis Bacchus in the region which means it pays particular attention to wine both in the restaurants and in its commitment to provide a range of activities and experiences for the wine lover.

There is also private parking and a swimming pool - great for a dip after a day out and about in the vines.  Prices ranges from 70 Euros to 165 Euros.
