Another winner from Jérémie Huchet

Discovered another winner from Jérémie Huchet at the Salon des Vins de Loire last week.  Made from the Melon de Bourgogne grape (the same one used in still Muscadet), this sparkling wine is just brimming with fruity freshness and hints of ripe rhubarb.  Crisp and dry, it’s been aged for 20 months sur latte and has a lovely weight and balance on the palate.  It’s a traditional method sparkling wine and has had no dosage – just perfect for sharpening the appetite before a meal.

Once again the Loire comes up with something unique and delicious.
